LAGOS:BBNaija, In what might appear as a departure from the norm, Big Brother Naija Season 10, the “10 Over 10” edition, is already delivering on its promise of twists and heightened competition, with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announcing a radical overhaul of the highly coveted Head of House HoH games.
Before now, housemates battle for the HoH title, securing not only immunity from eviction but also exclusive access to a lavish section of the house complete with premium food, bedding, and furnishings.
However, in a surprise twist on Saturday night, Ebuka unveiled a significant revamp to this established format.
“The HoH games will now be played on Sundays,” Ebuka declared, shifting the primary competition to the start of the week.
But the biggest shock came with the introduction of a brand-new “Head of House challenger game” to be held every Monday.
This means that a newly crowned HoH will have to defend their title a mere 24 hours after winning it.
“A Head of House challenger game has been introduced on Mondays, and this is when the winner of the HoH will defend their position,” Ebuka explained, signaling a dynamic shift in gameplay.
The inaugural HoH game under these exhilarating new rules is set to take place on Sunday, July 27th.
