
BENIN CITY: Flood; Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has sacked the Executive Director/CEO of the Edo State Flood, Erosion and Watershed Management Agency EDOFEWMA, Ahmed Musa Momoh.
Accordingly, the governor has approved the appointment of Architect Fashanu Emmanuel as the new Executive Director/CEO.
The appointment is effective immediately.
A government notice signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., indicates that the new EDOFEWMA chief is a seasoned architect with over two decades of experience.
“He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, obtained in 1999, and a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Jos, awarded in 2011”, the statement added.
Architect Emmanuel is also a Member of the Nigeria Institute of Architects.
