
ABUJA: Transcorp Hilton Abuja has announced the appointment of Martin Zarybnicky as its new General Manager, effective August 1, 2025.
Zarybnicky, who has since assumed office, is a global hospitality veteran with over three decades of experience.
He is expected to focus on strategic growth and delivering an elevated guest experience.
Zarybnicky has a long history in the industry, having held leadership positions with renowned hotel brands across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
His appointment marks a return to the Hilton brand, where he previously served as General Manager at the Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort.
Managing Director and CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc, Mrs. Uzo Oshogwe, expressed her delight at Zarybnicky’s arrival.
“His wealth of international experience brings fresh perspectives that will enrich our culture and elevate the guest experience we are known for,” she said.
Zarybnicky is well-known for his ability to drive operational excellence, increase guest satisfaction and lead major renovations, earning him several industry awards throughout his career.
Vice President of Operations for Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean at Hilton, Andreas Lackner, also praised the new appointment.
“Martin brings a wealth of global hospitality experience and a strong history of impactful leadership to his new role,” he said.
As General Manager, Zarybnicky will oversee all hotel operations. He is expected to focus on boosting operational efficiency and upholding Hilton’s global standards.
