ABUJA: Deputy Controller General DCG Olumode Samuel Adeyemi has formally taken over as Controller General of the Federal Fire Service FFS, succeeding Engr. Abdulganiyu Olola Jaji.
The handover, held on Wednesday at the Controller General’s Office in the FFS Headquarters, Abuja, marked the official transition of leadership.
In his remarks, Adeyemi praised the “immense contributions” of his predecessor to the growth and progress of the Service, noting that Jaji’s legacy would remain a reference point.
He appealed for unity among officers and staff, while assuring the outgoing Controller General of his willingness to seek his guidance whenever necessary.
The event was attended by senior officers of the Service and key departmental heads.
