Condolence: Edo Governor Visits Kogi, condoles with Gov. Ododo Over Father’s Death

ABUJA: Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on Saturday paid a condolence visit to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State following the passing of Ododo’s father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.

Governor Okpebholo, during the condolence visit, prayed for the repose of the soul of the late patriarch, asking Almighty Allah to grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.

He also prayed that the Ododo family would find strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear what he described as an “irreparable loss.”

According to a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, Okpebholo noted that the loss of a parent represents one of life’s deepest sorrows.

He urged Governor Ododo to take solace in the noble legacies left behind by his late father.
