BIRNIN KEBBI: Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, has approved the appointment of Bello Marafa Besse as the new District Head of Baraden Dutsin-Mari in Koko-Besse Local Government Area.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ahmed Idris said the appointment was announced on Wednesday by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Garba Umar Dutsin-Mari.
The development followed the recent death of the former district head, Alhaji Muhammad Mualliyadi.
The commissioner, while appreciating the governor’s swift approval, charged the new district head to uphold peace and harmony in his domain and to justify the confidence reposed in him.
