BENIN: Chaos erupted at Ozolua Model Primary School, Iguobazuwa East Ward, headquarters of Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo state, when an agent of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP was assaulted by angry voters.
The incident occurred after some voters accused the man of allegedly holding onto their Permanent Voter Cards PVCs and refusing to release them for use in the ongoing election.
Witnesses said the situation quickly escalated, with the enraged voters physically attacking the suspect before security operatives intervened to restore calm.
